Corporate Background

With more than 20 years of experience in the field of preventive and occupational medicine, Plexo was officially established in 2007 through the strategic alliance of three medical clinics reknown for their expertise and a technology company, Telesystem.

Founded in 1979, the clinic Robert & Lizotte inc. is recognized for the quality of its services and its knowledge of medicine in the workplace. Its primary objective is to monitor the health of employees and executives and secondly, to offer the expertise in case management which could have an impact on the business activities.

In 1988, two clinics with a different mission opened their doors in Montreal. MédiClub is founded by Dr. Michel Charest, whose objective is to provide physicians an environment that facilitates their practice and combines all the essential tools and services such as radiology, surgery and laboratory. MédiClub’s growth is such that after three years, the clinic is able to provide employees, managers and leaders a preventive medicine program. Since then, more than 4,000 customers have visited the clinic for their annual check-up.

Sanagex is created by Dr. François LeBire who dedicated a medical team to the management of occupational health by providing all services required to support health managers and workers. The clinic quickly develops a strong expertise in the absenteeism management, especially in supporting employees suffering from a mental health illness resulting in disability. Over 1,000 businesses across the province of Quebec are already benefiting from the expertise of Sanagex as well as thousands of workers.
